Diversity scholarship

While the first event in 2016 was already planned with diversity and inclusion in mind, it was not explicitly communicated as a particular aim or ambition. Yet, the composition of the first program committee as well as the speakers list both attest to this effort.

In 2023, we seek to build on top of these achievements and would like to proactively encourage and support participation by people of all backgrounds and identities. We are committed to fostering and sustaining an environment of respect and inclusivity. To increase participation at the Information+ by underrepresented or historically marginalized groups, we will offer up to 10 need-based diversity scholarships to help support travel, lodging, and childcare.
